The fourth and final Nine Kingdoms book, Mourn and Shatter, comes out September 1.

The draft is done, which both thrills and saddens me. I'll admit that writing the last book in a series is its own kind of hard. Mourn and Shatter is not just the last book in Nine Kingdoms, but a love letter to the characters and this world. I want to get it perfectly right. I owe Cass that, and I owe you that, too.

I'll have more to share between now and then, like a cover reveal, preorder links, and maybe a sneak peek if I can bear to part with one.

If you've stayed with this series all the way to the end, thank you. Truly. I started writing these books for myself, and somewhere along the way you came along, and that has been incredibly strange and incredibly lovely.
